Strategic Plan 2021 -2024

Between October 2020 and June 2021, our Strategic Planning Team met to develop key components of the plan as well as to update the mission and vision as well as adopt value statements for the organization. The planning process began with an organizational assessment and an extensive review of programmatic and scale information for the agency. This information helped with identifying and evaluating First Step’s capacity, impact, and progress towards its mission.

The First Step: A Response to Domestic Violence Strategic Plan begins to address both short- and long-term goals for the organization and sets measurable goals for Fiscal Years 2021-2024. The strategic objectives laid out in the plan will allow First Step to further its mission, deepen its impact in the community, and enhance access to programs and services to varied vulnerable populations.
