Domestic Violence Counselor

Life can become challenging following experiences of physical, mental, and emotional abuse. I firmly believe that individuals are the experts of their lives, and I am devoted to helping them heal from trauma and regain control. I offer free and confidential individual and group therapy to survivors of intimate partner or relationship violence, regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender, disability, national origin, religion, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, or gender identity or expression.

Intense emotions can cloud our judgment and make it difficult to think objectively and critically. As a licensed clinical social worker specializing in working with survivors and victims of domestic violence who are dealing with the debilitating physical and psychological effects of trauma, I understand the importance of acknowledging a problem to improve your life and overcome adversity. Making changes can be difficult, but it is a crucial step toward personal growth.

I have substantial experience providing person-centered therapy and solution-focused brief therapy for adults of all ages, empowering them to focus on their present and future circumstances. I also utilize a variety of other approaches for the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Do not hesitate to call our main office at 540-434-0295 to start your healing journey.
